Cascades East Ride Center

Cascades East Ride Center is no longer performing ride brokerage for Pacific Source / CCO Members. Cascades East Ride Center will be transferring remaining operations to Cascades East Transit (CET). CET will be performing ride brokerage for Oregon Medicaid Fee-For-Service Clients effective April 1, 2020.

Cascades East Ride Center (CERC) was a call center that provided information about local transportation options available, and scheduled rides for several kinds of local transportation. As of April 1st, 2020, Medicaid CCO Ride Brokerage has been assumed by Logisticare; remaining CERC operations have been transferred to Cascades East Transit:

1. Cascade East Transit – get bus information and schedules rides when reservations are needed, and arrange Fee For Service Medicaid Transportation.
2. OHP (Non-CCO Medicaid) Rides –rides scheduled for eligible OHP FFS clients to and from covered medical services.
3. OHP (Non-CCO Medicaid) Travel Reimbursements – claims processed for OHP clients providing their own transportation to and from eligible medical visits.

Rides On Cascade East Transit (CET)

CET is a public transportation system providing local on demand bus service in the Redmond, Prineville, Madras, La Pine and Sisters communities. Bend CET provides fixed route bus service for the general public, and, pre-scheduled Dial-A-Ride services for qualifying persons with disabilities and seniors who qualify as low income.

Additionally, Community Connector bus service provides Bus service on a fixed schedule and is available between the communities of Bend, Redmond, Terrebonne, Prineville, Madras, Culver, Metolius, Warm Springs, La Pine and Sisters.

Medical Rides for Eligible OHP Clients

CET arranges rides to medical appointments for eligible Medicaid (OHP) Fee-For-Service clients in Crook, Deschutes, Jefferson, and four communities in Northern Klamath County; Gilchrist, Crescent, Chemult and Crescent Lake. Rides should be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance, when possible, to ensure ride availability.   CET is open 8am -5pm (NOT the hours listed in the document links below).

To be eligible for help with travel reimbursement costs trips must be to a provider in your local town, or the next closest town where the service is available if not available in your local town.  Requests for reimbursements must be requested and authorized before the medical service happens unless it is an unanticipated, urgent need.  You need to get your medical provider to fill out one of our trip verification forms and you must submit it within 45 days of your trip.
